Never a bad meal here! My family loves their home made cheesecake selection! When we have gatherings we will order by the pie! Wife was craving their rice pudding late at night... Photo showed we had something else in mind Food is fresh, place and service is clean! Late night snack turned into full blown dinner with breakfast 🤣

I know what you're thinking. Your typical diner. 100 items on the menu, and they can't make any of it half decent. I thought the same, too, but this is the only place I have ever been proven wrong. I've gotten your usual Diner American food. Cheese burgers, pancakes, etc. Then we got crazy and tried thai dishes, Asian dishes, huge salads, 3 course dinners! All of it. Not one bad dish. HOW? I don't know what kind of chef they got back there, but their a magician. Their literally defying the laws of nature with this food. The staff is great and even the music they play there is quality. There just aren't enough stars to give to this place. Thank you, Dix Hills Diner!
Food was very well prepared....great place to grab breakfast...portions were generous and very filling.... "Loaded grits" were delicious (you choose how you'd like your eggs). Husband ordered banana pancakes (bananas cooked in, not on top). Only have turkey and pork bacon (no beef).
Probably our top 3 go to diner in Suffolk. Their food is great, no disappointment so far! The only thing is I wish there would be a bigger portion size on some dishes, or maybe I just eat too much! Check them out for sure
Truly a great diner, super clean, friendly staff, and lots on that menu! I must say this place has the best potato fries and I love fries! We had couple burgers nice and hearty, I’d next time ask for more cheese on the grilled cheese burger but still was good. Clean bathrooms with cool handles, lots of parking and $1 cookies made there at the register, they were good too!
Above average diner. As a diner lover, I've been to many across Long Island, NY. (Where else do you find them?) The Dix Hills Diner has THE BEST coffee I've had, by comparison to all of them. The staff told me it was Columbian, and showed me that it came in a shiny, white bag with brown writing on it. (Yeah, that gave me lots to go on... ) lolol. Nice of them to do tho. Anyway, it was sooooo flavorful, not weak, and not watery. In fact it was GREAT TO BE SERVED COFFEE IN A NICER THAN NORMAL DINER CUP that was HOT and STRONG!! FINALLY!! whooooo hooooooo!! (The little things, you know....)
This was my first time at this diner, and I came for Mother’s Day brunch. The service was really fast we got seated in less than 10 minutes, and the food came out pretty quickly too. I had a shrimp wrap with fries, and everything was really good. The cheesecake was amazing! I’d definitely recommend checking this place out.
The Hispanic Network celebrates the monthly meetings at this place. They have a back room that is reserve for events. Service was great, the food was delicious. As a Real estate agent I am always in the Rd so very convenient and in a good location. I will definitely try them again if doing showings in the area. #goodfood #PrimepropertiesTeam
We've been to Dix Hills Diner several times and the food has always been very tasty and made with quality ingredients. My favorite items are the pork milanese sandwich, Cuban sandwich and buffalo chicken salad. My wife had the NY strip steak and eggs today. The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly to her liking. The service from the staff is exceptional. Bryan, our server today was very attentive and made sure I never waited long to get a refill of my iced-tea. It's always a treat going to Dixie Hills.
